The Benefit of Timeless Mystical Teachings:
First let me share that while my work in the world for the past two decades has been focused on more modern methods of growth and transformation, I perpetually find myself drawn to (and influenced by) the timeless perspectives of humanity’s Great Mystics: The Buddha, Jesus Christ, Lao Tzu and countless others.
I particularly love to contemplate the pure, unfettered messages of these legendary seers and do my best to dismiss all dogma and religious structure that, in my view, cloud the potency of the original teachings.
I’m always amazed by the incredible speed by which my attitude changes when I remember to connect with these timeless teachings. I feel happier, more successful and more fulfilled, promising to myself that ‘I won’t forget to do this every day’!
When I look at the world I can’t help but think we need an immediate and potent revival of these pure teachings in a way that can genuinely be integrated into our modern lives. So why not start with trying to understand the pure & true message from perhaps the most famous human being that’s ever lived: Jesus Christ.

Igniting WISDOM - The Jesus Experiment:
There’s a book I have read, and re-read, over a DOZEN times in the last 18 months called ‘Sermon on the Mount’ by the pre-eminent Emmet Fox. In this book, which was written in 1936, Emmett does exactly what I am describing above: attempts to break down the pure, unobstructed teachings of Jesus Christ in a way that strips all dogma and religious structure so that we might be able to understand what the core message is all about.
He does this through a potent investigation into a teaching Jesus conducted known as ‘the sermon on the mount’ (hence the title) and I can tell you straight up that the practices in this book are profound and practical.
So the experiment will run like a BOOK club for Sermon on the Mount – where each session we’ll get on the line together to translate and dissect the core message of Jesus as it was translated and dissected by Emmet Fox:
